Community Resilience in the Pandemic: Gloucester's Inspiring Stories

Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, we witnessed the incredible power of community spirit and people coming together to support each other. At our AGM in 2022, we celebrated these inspiring stories through a special film where our team looked back over the pandemic, celebrating how communities in Gloucester rallied to support each other in these difficult times.

While virtual connections helped keep us going through this period of isolation, there is nothing quite like the joy of gathering in person to share experiences and passions. Our film highlights the different ways neighbours, friends and communities found to unite and uplift each other when it was needed most.

We are particularly excited to share our conversation with the Recycled Teenagers group in Longlevens. This remarkable grouped formed after the lockdown, bringing people together to share their talents, stories and support for one another. Their positive impact on the community has been truly inspiring.

Despite the challenges that were faced, the resilience and compassion from the communities in Gloucester shone through time and time again. Our film is a testament to the strength of human connection and the incredible ways we can come together.
