We take a strengths-based approach within our work, enabling people to realise their dreams and passions for themselves, their neighbourhoods and communities.
We actively build connections within communities to bring about people-led action.
The people of Gloucester have the skills and talents they need to shape the place they live.
We believe they should always have the power too.
People have always had the need to be connected, to support each other and improve the places which they live.
During Covid, Gloucester came together, people connected and showed the power of what communities can do.
Communities tackle some of the biggest social issues that affect us, like inequality, belonging, feeling safe, mental health and well being, social isolation.
But, we know the systems in place can often be a barrier.
