It’s almost time for our favourite night of the year! In just seven days, the Gloucester Community Building Collective’s Annual General Meeting returns. If you’re imagining a grey, jargon-filled business meeting, think again. We’ve listened to feedback from last year and made changes because our community deserves a celebration, not a lecture.
Why This Year Is Different?
Learning from last years’ feedback, this year we want our AGM to be fully engaging by promoting community spirit and having real conversations with residents.
The AGM belongs to the residents, changemakers, and everyone who cares about making Gloucester a better place to live.
What’s Happening at the AGM?
- Arrival from 17:30: Come for food, drink, friendly faces, and an opportunity for celebrating community moments.
- Celebration Kick-Off: A warm, informal welcome by our Community Builders. Leave your expectations at the door. Just bring your stories, energy, and appetite!
- Annual Report, Minus the Jargon: We’ll share our year stories. Plain language, heartfelt highlights, and impact you can see and feel.
- Table Workshops: Interactive, creative table sessions hosted by our team, focused on your experiences, ideas, and dreams for Gloucester’s neighbourhoods.
- Closing with Purpose: Share your ideas, make new friends, and leave inspired to make a difference!
