New £500 Grant Boosts Gloucester Community Chest
Gloucester Community Building Collective has received a £500 grant from The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire Charitable Trust to support our Gloucester Community Chest.
The grant will fund two £250 micro-grants for residents in Gloucester to lead their own community projects.
These small pots of funding help neighbours turn simple ideas into real activities – from gatherings that reduce loneliness, to small improvements that make shared spaces feel more welcoming.
Our Community Chest is designed to be easy to access, especially for people who may not have applied for funding before.
Residents will receive both a small grant and support from our community builders to plan and run their projects with confidence.
We are very grateful to The Honourable Company of Gloucestershire Charitable Trust for their support and for recognising the value of resident-led action in our city.
