GCBC receives £5,000 grant from National Benevolent Charity
Gloucester Community Building Collective (GCBC) is delighted to have received a £5,000 grant from the National Benevolent Charity.
This generous support will help us continue our work with people and communities across Gloucester who are facing poverty and financial hardship.
The National Benevolent Charity helps people who are experiencing poverty and money worries. Their grant to GCBC will support our work in local neighbourhoods, where we:
- Bring people together to support each other.
- Help residents find practical help in times of financial crisis, such as food, warmth, benefits and money advice.
- Support local groups and activities that give people a sense of belonging and hope.
We are very thankful to the National Benevolent Charity for backing our work here in Gloucester and for believing in the power of local communities to improve resilience.
